First, let me educate you on the Drake In My Feelings challenge.

You probably remember the ‘running man challenge’ or maybe the ‘mannequin challenge’ that swept the nation.

Well, now there’s a new challenge called In My Feelings Challenge. Basically, a rapper named Drake created a song called, “Kiki, do you love me?” and in just a few weeks, more than 240,000 posts have populated the #InMyFeelingsChallenge hashtag on Instagram, but it all started with Instagram user theshiggyshow. On June 29, the widely followed comedian shared a video of himself dancing (or “doing the shiggy,” as he calls it) in the street and using moves that perfectly synced up to Drake’s lyrics.

Even Kelly and Ryan are getting in on the challenge.

It’s a catchy tune and I have to admit, I can’t wait to start learning it with my daughter.

But besides that, I’d like to talk about how having fun and incorporating the dance into their Facebook page has worked for this small dental office in South Carolina.

Check out what Constantine Dental did to use this challenge as part of their marketing strategy. They decided to have some fun and make a video changing the name from ‘In my feelings’ to “In My Fillings” which has been viewed over 45 MILLION times in 4 days! They now have 215K like on their Facebook business page. 215K followers! Check it out here.

I could be wrong but I’m guessing he’s outranked most dental business pages in number of likes.

Anyway, I know what you’re saying, not everyone can pull this off…after all, look at that guy and his killer dance moves!

Well, here’s where you’re wrong.

After seeing this video, thousands of dental offices started their own version increasing their views and engagement exponentially.

Why? They may not look like this guy or even have his dance moves but it helps to humanize their brand and allows people to know, like and trust them! 

A local real estate office near me, ReMax Town and Country does the same thing by talking about issues that really matter on their page. Although it sometimes has nothing to do with real estate, it adds value to their community and shows they care…and it works.
